CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Last weekend I attended my Stampin' Up! team's annual BBQ get-together. We do meet throughout the year, but once a year we have an all day team meeting where we all provide a dish (salad or dessert) to accompany the BBQ provided by our upline. It's a great day filled with business planning, sharing ideas and make and take projects. This years theme was 'Christmas in July'.

Today I am sharing with you the card that I made to swap with my fellow team members.

To create the wreath I used the holly and berry stamps out of the Hang Your Stocking stamp set. The greeting is from the Christmas Pines stamp set. I stamped the greeting in versamark ink and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. After stamping the berries in Cherry Cobbler Ink, I added a dot of glue using the fine tip glue pen to add a bit of dimension.

LOVELY INSIDE & OUT BIRTHDAY

Welcome back! Today I am sharing with you a card that I made for my daughters birthday. I am in love with the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set, you'll be seeing it a lot!! This time I have paired it with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die and I've added a few retired star embellishments from the Urban Underground embellishment pack (I know!! Sorry, I couldn't resist them.)

I have used four of the new In-colours from Stampin' Up! - Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Powder pink and Lemon Lime Twist. I am loving the new colours, they co-ordinate so well.

LOVELY INSIDE & OUT THANK YOU

Today I am sharing with you the thank you cards I made for friends that gave me birthday gifts last month. I am very lucky to have received some amazing gifts. I got some gorgeous scented candles, chocolates, flowers and prosecco.

I have cased this card from the very talented Kylie Bertucci. I fell in love with her card whilst browsing pinterest for inspiration and just had to make it and make it my own.

I started with a card base using Berry Burst cardstock and added mat layers in Basic Grey, Whisper White, Basic Grey and Whisper white (again), on which I stamped the sunburst from the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set in Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink. I added a strip of Powder Pink cardstock and stamped 'Lovely' in Fresh fig and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped 'Thanks,' in versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, onto a small piece of Fresh Fig cardstock.

I am loving the new In-colours from Stampin' Up! They co-ordinate so well.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CARD

Thanks for popping by. Today I am sharing a quick card I made for my husband for our wedding anniversary at the beginning of this month.

I stamped the Hardwood background stamp in Crumb Cake ink on to Crumb Cake cardstock and inked the edges with a sponge using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks.

Then, with Soft Suede ink, I stamped the hearts from Water Colour Words stamp set and added the text using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.

I love how this card turned out and it was so quick and easy to put together.
